Reach Out To Our Friendly Team Today

Anger is something everyone has experienced and it is an essential part of the human emotional spectrum. It’s normal to have moments in life where anger makes us do things we later regret. These moments are generally few and far between, but when they become “the norm” then there is a problem.

    Quick Anger Checklist

Use this brief check to decide if managing anger should be a priority. If more than one item fits, book a session.

    • Your partner or family feel unsafe, or you are worried about losing control
    • Work troubles, conflicts or complaints linked to anger issues or aggression
    • Physical signs like high blood pressure spikes, hot face, tight jaw or shaking
    • Frequent frustration, rage, shame, anxiety or worrying after you get angry
    • You feel angry quickly in difficult situations and struggle to calm down
    • You use alcohol, withdrawal or harsh words to cope with feelings
    • Arguments escalate instead of resolving through conflict resolution skills
    • Anger has blocked goals at home, with friends or in your career

Why Do We Offer Individual Anger Management Programs

People express anger in different ways. Individual counselling lets your counsellor tailor the pace, tools and goals to your triggers, history and supports. We combine cognitive behavioural therapy, somatic methods, mindfulness and communication skills training so you can respond with control, not react. This approach is confidential, safer, and usually faster than courses that mix many needs in one room.

    What Our Programs Cover

    Exploring Triggers

Identify situations, thoughts, body signals and words that lead you to get angry. You will map early signs and practise calm responses before behaviour escalates.

    Cognitive Restructuring

Learn how thinking styles fuel anger. Replace hot beliefs with balanced thoughts using CBT techniques and real examples, so you can act rather than react.

    Anger Release Options

Trial healthy ways to release energy, including breath work, movement and relaxation techniques. Build a personal plan that helps you express, recover and reset.

    Awareness & Control

Use a simple scale to rate levels of anger, notice feelings and choose strategies at each level. Improve control with cue cards, pauses and assertive requests.

Exploring & Resolving Sources Of Anger From The Past

Work compassionately with hurt, grief and pain that sit under anger. Process root causes so old patterns stop leading current behaviour.

Our counsellors and psychotherapists are experienced in anger management counselling, trauma and relationship work. You will work with a clinician trained in CBT, somatic awareness, mindfulness and communication coaching. Sessions are confidential, supportive and focused on skills you can use in daily life.
